Writing my first novel, “Amacoy: Fantasmas del Viento,” was a magical and cathartic experience. During the process, I experienced deep spiritual suffering that transformed into a closer connection with my spirit and my true self. I remember that when I wrote, I cried at the same time.
The same thing happened to me that through writing, I was able to experience a state of happiness in which my body, mind and spirit were united in harmony. It was a moment in which I reunited with my loved ones and realized that we are part of a whole.
Spirituality played a fundamental role in my novel, especially the journey of the soul through time in the mysterious Amacoy cave. This experience meant a lot to me, as I felt a proximity to the divine. Without that recognition and connection to the spiritual, I would have felt lost and would not have reached my full potential. This writing process marked a before and after in my life.
Now, whenever I need to return to that moment of happiness and fulfillment, I remember my experience writing "Amacoy: Ghosts of the Wind." It helps me remember that I am part of something bigger and that I have the ability to connect with my deepest essence. This novel was much more than a simple story, it was a transformative journey for my soul and a revelation of my purpose in life.
